Exciting news! Leigh Hoath and I have written, with the support of many others (see below), a new book. Our aim is to support primary teachers with their science subject knowledge.

The front cover
We designed the book so that each key concept from the national curriculum has:
- a concise, accurate explanation;
- key questions to ask pupils (with good example answers);
- common misconceptions (and how to correct them) and
- a description of how the concept progresses from Early Years through to Key Stage 3.
Each concept has been given a double-page spread. We hope that teachers will refer to the page while lesson planning and to help develop their own subject knowledge.

- Laura Dickinson Rogers
- Leigh Hoath
- Emily Montenero
- Lewis Morgan
- Caroline Neuberg
- Ben Rogers
- Katja Rudden
- Alex Sinclair
- Charles Tracy
- Bryony Turford
- Paul Tyler
We hope primary colleagues will find it useful!
