I work for Paradigm Trust, training teachers and supporting curriculum and assessment development.

This blog is about learning and teaching – mostly about science, literacy and teacher education.

I train teachers and teach physics for Paradigm Trust in Ipswich and East London

I have taught for more than 25 years, teaching English in Berlin to adults and science at secondary schools in Ghana, London and East Anglia.

I have written a book to support new physics teachers with a focus on five big ideas in physics: electricity, forces at a distance, particles, space and waves.

I have a Masters degree in Science Education and am a Chartered Science Teacher and a Member of the Institute of Physics.
