How do we grade scientific writing at KS2 at Paradigm Trust?

Over the past four years at Paradigm Trust, we have developed and implemented a knowledge-rich science curriculum for EYFS to KS3. We aim to build scientific knowlegde and build retrieval knowledge into understanding through planned exposure to ideas in multiple contexts, problem solving and through disciplinary literacy. The following text outlines how we teach and assess scientific disciplinary literacy at KS2.
